You keep destroying all our beleifs, when will it end ! Reminds me of the story of when my dad took my mom to meet his family on the farm in Indiana. He laid it on real thick giving pretty much every hick/redneck/farm stereotype he could think of, my uncle supposedly had a beard she had to compliment, there was an outhouse and such. She got there to my uncle without a beard and indoor plumbing, and my grandma was not too pleased with my father (20 years later she was still sore on the subject). My mom got my dad a little wooden outhouse to remember it by.

That reminds me of a Garfield cartoon. John is dressed up in a really stupid farmer's outfit, and says "Guess where we're goin, Garfield?" And Garfield, looking totally un-impressed thinks, "To a hayseed convention?" And John says "Yesiree, we're gonna see mom and dad on the farm. We're gonna slop the pigs and chickens, boy howdy, we're gonna have us a time." And Garfield thinks, "That is, if your father doesn't beat the heck out of you for doing that stupid stereotype."
