More that I don't like showing weakness and having a fuss made over me is embarrassing, that is a benefit to living on my own!

I think I would be a doter if I had kids, if they were like me they would learn how to hide being sick so I wouldn't fuss. Like how kids in the cartoons or whatever put the thermometer by a lightbulb to heat it, they would put theirs in the air to cool it off...

I hid it when I could... Though I never faked a temp, either way. My temp is actually lower than normal, so when I am at normal temp it means I am hot or developing a fever. My mom's thing was that unless we were throwing up or had a high fever we went to school. Still live by that myself.
