So my friend is here visiting me this weekend, very awesome, and he has never seen the microbes before, he gave me a rather funny look when he did. He has decided to give them all names based on what they look like. So far Martian Life is named Mr. Hanky, E. coli is a jelly fish, and syphilis is a snake... Can't remember what giardia was, he did mention that one too, I'll have to ask him in the morning since it is real late and he just went to bed...

I think giardia looks more like a jelly fish than E.coli.

Well we spent pretty much all day Sat on campus at the ISU Veishea celebration (yeah no rioting or stabbings this year, way go Iowans/undergrads!!!) and he left Sun so he did not give them all names. Oh well there is always next time!
