I don't ever get flu shots. I'm 13 now and this is the first year I've gotten the flu.

Funny you should say, I too have never gotten a Flu shot, and yet, never have had the Flu... At least not yet... And I hope to stay that way...

... Though I live right on the very edge of where the Swine Flu first started, and I'm afraid that this will be the first time I ever get the Flu as well.

Well anyway, it's been pretty hectic around here... They've been shutting down whole schools just cuz one kid tests positive for Swine Flu... for a whole week... So far, my school has yet to have a case of Swine Flu... but so far not yet. Though, the funny thing is, that everybody wants someone to get sick with the Swine Flu, just so they all can enjoy a full week off of school! lol!

Well, I'm just glad it's not as bad as other strains of viruses....

Oh, and now everybody's paranoid about eating pork, but pork won't transmit the virus if eaten. *sigh* Well, the pork industry dropped way down now.

It's actually not swine flu anymore. They're just calling it H1N1. And sorry about the srain in mexico. thats wrong too i think. the news had a lot of bad info.

Hmm... Yeah that's another thing I don't like- they changed the name because everybody thought that the virus was attainable (obtainable?) by eating pork. So as a result, the pork industry suffered, and thus the name "Swine Flu" was changed to "H1N1". What could be more messed up?

Okay, I know that there are many religions that say eating pork is forbidden because it's a "dirty" animal, but killing pigs just because of a flu named Swine Flu? That just crosses the line!! O_O What is wrong with people!?

There are a couple cases of swine flu in my local village, no one is really bothered though.... Its flu.... yea, maybe its got slightly more teeth than regular flu... but its nothing to go isolate yourself for, unless of course your at risk anyways from regular flu.... then its not so good....
