On the GIANT microbes website it says yeast has something to do with beer. So I'd say yeah, he's drunk. Or maybe he's tired out from doing, ohhh, I dunno, some kind of germ thing.

There is more than one kind of yeast, the one the plush is made after is the kind that makes bread and beer (same organism for both but generally different strains used for brewing v baking). There has been a few cases of that kind being a pathogen but it was in extremely extremely immunocompromised individuals (very very very very advanced AIDS) so it is not considered a pathogen, some people ingest it as a probiotic (microbe that gives health benefits).
