I once made a Mad Cow Marshmallow Recipe. It tasted like a S'more! Here is the recipe:
What you will need:
Large Marshmallows
Chocolate Bar
M&Ms
Powdered Sugar
Step One.
Pick how many people you will serve. For each person you will need 3 Marshmallows, and 2 Red/Orange M&Ms. Sort these out.
Step Two.
Mix the powdered sugar with some water to make a thick paste. Use the paste to stick the M&Ms “Eyes” on. Stick 3 Marshmallows together. Let the paste dry for a couple minutes.
Step Three.
Take some of the chocolate pieces and put them in a bowl. Put this in the microwave and let it melt for about a minute.
Step Four.
Spread the melted chocolate on the marshmallow bodies to look like cow spots. Put it fridge for about 15 minutes. When it’s cooled, you can eat!

OHHH. That's ah-mazing! I love it. Your idea sounds great. Sadly I don't eat chocolate but the idea's cool anyway.

I emailed her and here is what she said:

Hi Hermes,
Well, there really isn't a recipe since you can bake almost any cake that you would like to make into this cake. What we used to bake the cake was a Wilton ball pan that you can pick up at Michaels or another craft store. Then just fill and frost with your favorite smooth frosting. After the cake is frosted, roll out some fondant (also available at Michaels in white that you can color or sold in cake supply shops in premixed colors or online) and drape the cake. Then decorate with fondant details to look like the Chickenpox cake. I hope this is what you need!
