I am a huge fan of the stuffed microbes, I love them all! If I had to choose I think I'd go with stomach ache and strep throat, they are so cute. I had them all until the eight new ones came out, I now know what I'm asked for for Christmas. There is even a sibling of my current research organism, Propionibacterium thoenii. Might I suggest adding more friendly bacteria, such as another species of Propionibacterium the causative agents of swiss cheese, or Lactobacillus.
Keep up the great work!!! Karen

I like Ebola. It's pretty neat looking, if you ask me.

I think HIV is my favorite. But just shapewize i like it and Coman Cold (voted for) for its hugability.

Yeah, I voted for Ebola, though, because "the Hot Zone" is a really good book, and stuff... but Cake is right, Common Cold should get props for its hugability.

I'd like a giant giant microbe, that I could really get a cuddle action going on with. *ebola it's squeezably soft*

That's a good idea, Cake. I want one to snuggle with at night, also. Maybe we should contact someone who will hook us up with really big ones, so we could be happy forever with big, snuggly microbes. I have a dream...

Actually it is a tie between Giardia and syphilis ("the Pox") for me. If GIANTmicrobes ever makes one of Trichomonas that may become my favorite. I think Trichomonas would make a really cute giant microbe with it's combination of flagella and an undulating membrane.

All of them are my favorite. I have a special affection for Sore Throat as it was the first microbe I purchased but then Martian and Yeast came, and then the Flu, Bad Breath, etc. But if I favor one, won't that make their microscopic friends angry? And who wants the Pox sending its microscopic cousin after you?

You're missing Black Death in the poll. Anything that can take out 1/3 of Europe at a go should not have been shorted. True, it looks like a jelly bean and nowhere near so intriguing as Ebola, but one shouldn't judge books by their covers, as it were.
