I thought of a Trilobite, though it's not a microbe. Than again, ants aren't either!

I just noticed that one looks like two bones stitched together, that would look cool and fit in as a fossil!

I like to Wiki the microbes they have. Waterbears were here since the Cambrian! That prehistoric enough?
