DIY microbes?

Has anyone tried their hand at making their own toys of microbes which aren't likely to be produced any time soon? Some friends and I have been talking about doing this (mainly with fictional microbes and such), and I'm curious whether anyone else has any experience with it.

I have plans for making one! I was about to make a tapeworm, but I wasn't able to get to the fabric store...

I made mini versions of several of the GiantMicrobes using poms and turned them into geeky fridge magnets . I think people have made their own, I remember seeing a picture someone posted where a grandma I think made a kid a GIANT GiantMicrobe, it was in the photo gallery section of the forum.

I started my own company. Well, my own Bedhian company. (MCS members, remember the article 'New Country' from the MCS Newsletter II?) It is called 'Microbes of Bedhia' and it has already produced a couple pollens. Coming Next? Croup, Waterbear, and Elm Disease. I may put up a picture sometime. Well, I might.

i thought of designs for smallpox SARS lactobaccilus platlet and deer fly

i plan to make 2 of each and send some to GIANTmicrobes they might consider making my designs and i will upload pictures of them

That was my mother who made a gigantic Stomach Ache for my son. This was before the GIGANTICmicrobes came out from giantmicrobes, so I think we inspired them. I bought him a gigantic Penicillin to keep him from getting sick from all the microbes he has now. He's got e-coli, salmonella, typhoid, black death, stomach ache (the regular size one plus the one his grandma made), common cold, ebola, brain cell, maggot, orange amoeba, and flesh eating. He's also got the baby size petri dish penicillin and t4.

He like to take E-Coli and Salmonella with him when we go out to eat! He also thinks that Penicillin is "Evil" and a "Mass Murderer" LOLOLOL!
