My science fair just finished and I won! I did Bacteria v.s. Soap Brands. On my presentation, since I didn't have a microbe yet. I made fact files and I made my own E. Coli and Stomach Virus. On the sheet, I used the images from the plushies? Does anyone else enter their science fair?

As far as I know my school didn't have one, lame! Occasionally we'd do projects but nothing big.

Oh and congrats on the win, love it when a micro project kicks butt!!! Did you actually run an experiment (if so what) or was it just a literature review?

Yes, I did do the project and I used GloGerm, the stuff that shows germs.

If you were using what I think you did it does not make "germs" on your hands glow, it is a glow-in-the-dark lotion and it shows how well someone washes their hands, very cool stuff. If cannot determine how effective a soap is just the effectiveness of the soap user. A stain that would stain microbes on your skin would likely also stain the skin and some of them are hazardous.
