Just to tell you....
When I emailed GIANT Microbes I asked how they thought of them. They replied that one of the workers brothers was on a plane and then decided that the world needed a plush of the common cold. Isn't that strange? I guess the rest came later.

I heard the creater had kids and that was at least part of the inspiration, anyone that has them knows they can be very gross (my neice can drop something, step on it, and then not think anything of picking it up and eating it
 )

My bro would have a heart attack! Anything, even a sealed bag of chips, that has touched the floor, he won't eat. He's the complete opposite of me...paranoid about microbes!
