A Role-Playing Game as Microbes? What do you guys think?

cool. sounds kinda like my microbe battle game. if you have not read about that i recomend that you do. anyway i like the idea of a microbe rpg.

Can I be a fat cell or flesh eating disease?

Can I be an Amoeba? Or a T4? I don't think it should be viruses vs. body cells. Maybe we fight against nanobots? That might be cool! That way everyone could be a good guy!

I like the idea of fighting nanobots. That way,our little germs don't lose to 'good' guys!

We could be an army of germs and body cells, working together to fight off an army of nanobots. After all, they've played bad guys in such appearances as "The Empty Child/Doctor Dances" episodes in Doctor Who, and were the subject of Michael Crichton's Prey

Nanobots are a good idea! I was originally thinking of toxins, but those could be released by the nanobots

I even managed to figure out why the nanobots are attacking: they use the matter from the cells (and virii, and prions ) to build more copies of themselves. The Pathogens and the Macroscopics (body cells) sign an uneasy truce to fight off the new common threat. What would be some of the skills some of the microbes could have?

Well,if that were true,then the attacks would depend on how dangerous the microbe is. Like,the Plague would be like really powerful,but the pimple would be weak. And the body cells,depending on what they do,would be more or less powerful as well.

Sorry to bring up Doctor Who again, but in the episode New Earth (If you don't understand what's going on read this: http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/New_Earth_%28TV_story%29) they had people infected with every disease in the universe. Now, let's have every disease GIANTmicrobes has infect someone as an experiment. Then, as part of the experiment, they release nanobots to kill all viruses and bacteria (and prions and parasites etc...) in the body. But they go psycho and kill every cell in the body. The lab that the body was in (Let's call him "Bob") goes under quarantine, and the scientists are forced to leave. It's up to the Microbes to destroy this nano-threat!

We're missing Aerials, Aquatics, Critters, and some Menageries, but we have most of them!

Everyone gets to make up a nanobot if they want, each with its own abilities. We start with Standard-Bot, but we make up some more as we go along. Each player picks one Corporeal or Disease to play as. Name, gender, personality, etc. This doesn't have to be scientifically accurate! Brain cells can swim in the blood stream if they want for the purpose of this game only! We work together, so no T4s killing E. Colis!

I love Doctor Who. A shame I can't see the new season though.
