Quite a few countries are working on a vaccine, the trouble from what I heard is normally the flu is grown in chicken eggs (you need a lot of the virus to make a vaccine) and this flu kills them without making enough virus making it difficult, but it sounds like they are well on their way to figuring it out, think there are several in testing already. Sometimes it can take 10 years or more to get a vaccine that works, though some new techniques can be in as little as 2-3 years, that is starting from scratch, flu has work done from before so hopefully will not take as long.
