Giant Microbe Genders!
 

Sort of along the same lines as giving them names, but not...

Do you refer to your microbes in gendered terms? Or are they all asexual?

Mono is definitely a girl to me, and stomach ache is a boy, as are flu, and athelete's foot. HIV is really asexual to me, but sometimes I refer to is as a 'she'.

ulcer is she,sleeping sickness...hiv is boy

I don't put that much thought into it, guess I think of them as objects without gender though, some look feminine but they are still inanimate...

Ulcer reminds me of a long haired surfer dude with all his little flagalle coming out of his head like wavy golden locks...

i say ulceris a girl,with the hair and all...well,fallagella....
