We have some exciting news -- the new additions to the GIANTmicrobes family have arrived! Joining the collection are the water-based microbes: Aquatics. They’re slippery and slimy, but sure to give you a smile.
The Corporeals also make their debut with the two main players that keep you alive and healthy: Red Blood Cell and White Blood cell.
Flea and Typhoid Fever round out the line up for this release of GIANTmicrobes, and there are also great new accessories like a GIANTmicrobes digital thermometer and T-shirts.
You can find all our new products at:

We hope you enjoy them!

Thanks for the update, they are so cool!!! The link did not work for me but since they are up on the main site it didn't matter.

Why are there tiny RBCs floating around the big RBC? Is there a smaller version or something?

Before I am inundated with email after email about the over hype of Stachybotrys let me just say that I work for an environmental consulting firm and we are just looking to take some of the oomph out of the media frenzy and i would love to get my hands on a Stachybotrys plush. Any plans at Giant Microbes to make one? Or does someone know where I can buy a few hundred?

I do not believe there are new ones every quarter, though that would be nice :D

The last batch of new ones also came out in December--not October. Lyme disease, the Aerials, malaria, the menageries, krill, red tide, and sea sparkle. Six others came out the previous month--November.

Hello, everyone.
My name is Justin and I'm a GIANTMicrobe-aholic.
I'm the proud owner of Madcow, Flesheater, HIV, E. coli, Ebola, Rabies, Hepatitis, Syphilis, and Gonorrhea.
As someone who loves GIANTmicrobes and befriends them to calm my fear of their smaller, less lovable counterparts, I would really like to see herpes added to the catalog.:o

I don't know, thats for sure... but, I could make a guess, and I would assume October bieng the latest, however I could be TOTALLY off... but I would assume it be soon because the other ones came out... how long ago?

The last lot of ten came out in December but there were new microbes the two months before then too. So who knows really when the new ones will come out.

Before the two big batches at the end of last year I think it had been a full calendar year since the last new microbes, so...it could be close to year end before we see another update. No way to know since live chat reps seem to have completely disappeared and they don't seem to be answering e-mails recently.
ETA: Yay! New microbes at the end of July!

It looks like I'm the first to say it but there are new microbes--YES! Some of the best yet, great designs, interesting microbes. I have been waiting for some of these for awhile. Very excited about the neuron especially--I have some interesting brain stuff and yeah--really something for me. So yeah. All great.
