What would toothache look like? There are lots of germs that could cause those.

It's a bad cough. You can treat it best by sitting someplace cold. But you can't even talk for a while:eek: .
The only good thing about it is that it only lasts about two hours!:)
And it would look cute as a Giantmicrobe:D .

Waterbears are AMAZING!!! If the conditions are harsh, they will stay in a sort of hibernated state, where they even stop aging till the conditions are back to normal again!! I heard that scientists found a waterbear that was over 100 years old!! LOL!:D :D

It turns out that Elm disease is a beetle. Here is a photo:

Dutch Elm Disease is spread by the beetle, which is called a vector, it is a fungal disease.

Fungi? So then it wouldn't be under critters! :(
That's really sad!!! I hope Elm trees don't become extinct! :'(

Correct, fungi, and no it would not be under critters. Elm trees are still around, I doubt they will go extinct and I think that maybe they have bred some resistance into them but am not sure.

Maybe it'll go under Exotics, since half of them are types of fungi .
Didn't they create a pesticide already? Well even so, you never know... what if the beetles themselves get immune to the pesticides, and suddenly there's an epidemic going on among the Elm trees? It's probably unlikely, but I don't know...
I guess the resistant Elms might hold them off... though what happens if the fungi mutates? Would the Elms be doomed by then?:(

There are pesticides, as I recall there are still cases of the disease, I think it is at manageable levels so the Elms won't go extinct.
